bliss list: what i’m loving.

this week i’m dedicating my whole bliss list to a super inspiring girlfriend who founded the neshama project. i got my first necklace from her over a year and a half ago when she came home from israel, and she has since spread her message all over the world.

rachelle is a yoga teacher in venice. a traveler and adventurer at heart, lover of all things turquoise, a hamsa collector, and awoman on a mission to infuse positivity to all those she comes into contact with. when she is not inspiring her clients and high school students on their mat, you can find her typing positive sayings on recycled brown paper bags, and working on the neshama project.

“the neshama project has been my baby that i have been working on over the past year. it has birthed out of me via my many spiritual journeys to israel, the land my parents met on, and a place i get to call home.  “neshama” means soul in hebrew, and the “n” in neshama is in honor of my mother, nicole, who passed away when i was nine years old.  after my many life enhancing experiences while exploring the land, i made a commitment to myself that i would do whatever it takes to help support israel, and find ways to share what i love with the world. a special hamsa from israel, is now a symbol of love, connection, inner strength, resilience, overcoming adversity, and following one’s heart.”

neshama project’s mission: “in every day, in every moment, find ways to make someone smile, wake them up, give them hope, and let them shine.

I couldn’t love this post more! First of all, have an amazing trip and safe travels. I can’t wait to see pics! : ) Secondly, I’ve been keeping my eye out for just the right hamsa for a while, and stumbled onto the Neshama Project site a while back when you were tagged as a shiny soul. I placed an order the other day and my stunning opal hamsa arrived in the mail yesterday. I was hoping it would live up to the photos–turns out it far far far exceeds them. L O V E it! Super love. So thank you for pointing me toward the light of the Neshama Project! I also love the work she does giving back to the worldwide community. Blessings abound, so lovely! xoxo
